Default KTs - How to play the Flop

It looked like I had enough outs and equity to call the flop (even though there were players to come). Should I have considered a raise to protect my hand in this fairly big pot (CO did it anyway) or should I have even considered a fold given than there were players to come after me that could have raised and made the pots odds too low for a call.

I think calling the flop bet is the worst option. If you are going to stay in, you want to raise. Its possible you have the best hand and you have enough outs to draw to better hand. Raising protects your hand if you are ahead and clears up outs if you are behind.

Raise that flop! with middle pair, an overcard and backdoor straight and flush draws you have a strong hand here, it maybe best in which case you need to protect it as it's very vulnerable, if not you have around 6 or 7 outs to improve, and a raise will help clean up those outs! (you'd like to see anyone holding an A or Q fold in particular!)

Raise preflop,
Fold the flop and move on.

Raising protects your hand if you are ahead

I'm not sure this advice applies here. You have 2 people ahead of you that have already put in 1 SB on this flop. You can't protect your hand from them. Furthermore, there is no reason to believe you are ahead at this point, and you probably won't get a better hand to fold.

and clears up outs if you are behind.

If another J or a K falls, you are very likely to have the best hand. There is no need to clean up any of those outs. Cleaning up outs is better applied if you have AK and the board is 47T. You fear that someone holds A4 or something, and that your A outs won't be good.

Thoughts?

I'm not so sure about this line after a bet comes from UTG, unless we know UTG will bet with a range of hands < TP. Since chances are higher that we are playing a weak draw (6-7 outs), I would play as Hero did.

7:1
5 outs + Bck doors = 8:1 needed to call. Maybe we can call.

Were probably behind, He didnt raise it preflop and i dont want to call this.

I either raise or fold, and raising when were behind sucks. We also have NO pt stats or reads.

Tiny pot, I just let this one go.
