thepokerdb.com and its new update
Since I'm a big fan of not having my account suspended, I want to get this straight. Using thepokerdb right now, while it's free for everyone, does not violate the terms and conditions of Pokerstars, right? Once thepokerdb becomes a subscription service, however, using it while playing will be against the T&C of Pokerstars, correct?
I consider thepokerdb a pretty great tool, especially when considering deals at final tables, but after seeing a few homies suffer major scares when Party decided to crack down on subscription services, I want to find out where the line stands on Stars. |

Re: thepokerdb.com and its new update
I am curious, how the hell does thepokerdb.com have access to all of Stars tournament finishes?

It's public record, AFAIK. thepokerdb probably just requests every tournament summary.

[/ QUOTE ] Yep, pretty much, although our automation software does it for us based on number ranges that I put into it. However, we're moving on to custom-written scraping software so we can do STTs, other sites, etc... |
