Default $10+1 MTT on Poker Stars

I just moved tables so I did not have any reads on any players at the time, but I wasnt sure if i played this right pre-flop and post flop. So here it is:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (9 handed) converter

Hero (t18175)
MP2 (t19475)
MP3 (t13325)
CO (t3025)
Button (t16245)
SB (t21982)
BB (t34817)
UTG (t16202)
UTG+1 (t21850)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t400, Hero raises to t1500, 3 folds, Button raises to t3200, 2 folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls t1700.

Flop: (t6975) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets t5200, Button raises to t13020, Hero calls t7820.

Turn: (t33015) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t33015) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t33015

Results in white below:
Hero has Ah Ks (one pair, kings).
Button has 9h 9c (three of a kind, nines).
Outcome: Button wins t33015.

Your money is going in no matter what...you didn't play this terribly.

Some people will question calling a re-raise with AKos though...

This is exactly how I play the hand. The hand was a coin flip, you lost. Bummer.

is it just me,or does a reraise scream aa or kk,and if he had this you have little hope,i know you don't often run into aa or kk when you have ak,but you sure do sometimes,if you can't lay down ak to reraises twice,i guess you can't ever lay it down, and you're happy with winning when the odds pay off.
no way you put him on 99 here,i'd have to think aa,or qq once that flop came, can't fault your preflop action here,i certainly check the flop and see what he does here,it's a very tough situation, that i'd like to think i could have folded post flop, but in the heat of the battle it doesn't seem likely.
it just seems like an awful sin that with close to 50 times the bb,to let top pair put you out of the tournament.
