Too Streaky?
This data is over 125 Party SNG's (mostly $20, some $10 & $30).
I was around 25% ROI, learning this format, thought things were fine. But lately, I have a bad run. Down to 8% ROI. My best run has been 10 out 15 in top 2; 18 of 36 ITM. My latest run though is no money in last 10, only 2 ITM in last 20. How do these compare to other proven winner's patterns? I was thinking my 10/15, 18/36 provided me some confidence in my game, but lately I don't know. How bad is bad as far as SNG runs go? Would it indicate some kind of change in my play that I haven't noticed? |

Re: Too Streaky?
1) I suck at limit.
2) I suck at live play. 3) I lost $37 over six hours, during which I saw at least $500 of dead money appear on the table and filter off to the non-retarded players. What does that make me? 4) That rabbit I found in my yard is a cute little bugger. My housemates let him out and couldn't get him back in his cage, so they went to sleep. He proceeded to eat both of the '5' buttons on two separate remote controls, in both cases leaving the surrounding buttons untouched. Is this thread ready to be locked yet? |

Re: Too Streaky?
8% is good. The vast majority of players are losing. So stop whining.

Re: Too Streaky?
I was running a bit over 20% ROI over my first 1k $22s. Over the next 300 my roi had fallen to 12-13%, and another 250 sngs later it was just under 20%. Variance is a b!tch, but that's part of poker so you just have to deal with it.

Re: Too Streaky?
if you play 1000 sng's you probably will have a streak of negative roi for 100 of them even if you are a solid winning player
