Can any Greektown regulars give me the down low?

What sort of no limit games are spread? Is it 24/hr and area all the games 24hr? Minimum / maximum buy ins? Etc. Thank you/

I am not sure if I count as a regular (2-4 times a month), but I'll answer. :-)

No-Limit Games include:

$50 min/$100 max buy-in with 1/2 blinds
$100 min buy-in with 3 blinds (if I am not mistaken, they are 2/5/5 - I've never played in this one)

The above games are run 24/7, and the 100 max game is pretty new (and nice).

Just in case you are a player who has a mucho significant bankroll, I think that on Fridays they are running a $1000 min. buy-in 10/25 NL game. But, don't quote me on that...call them if you are interested in that. They will let you call an hour ahead.

All the NL games above the $100 max are unlimited buy-in. Cash plays, so it's sometimes difficult to know exactly what everyone's got on the table.

The $100 min game is actually a 2-2-5 structure.

Time charges for the games:
1-2 NL : $6 per 1/2 hr
2-2-5 NL : $8 per 1/2 hr

I've never played in the big game, so I'm not sure if it's more than $8 per 1/2.

There's often a PL Omaha game going if the rooms are full.

This is all word of mouth but I have friends who are very good players in Detroit.

The big no limit games at Greektown are usually a sharkfest. So much so that some of the sharks who can play no limit have gone back to populating the 20-40 game. But they come back on the off chance that a meandering fish shows up.

The new restricted buy-in no limit games are juiced up, but you are not allowed to rebuy unless you go down to the felt.
