Re: $430 hand #2
Yeah, I'm 12 tabling the 430's now, let me take a crack This turn card - no brainer IMO. Absolutely perfect card (OPFr is not checking behind on a FD+SD flop w/ an overpair) Can I assume... - you were looking to c/r the flop as well? Obviously a better than expected flop. Enough here to c-r, or were you in c-c/f mode? - you were c/f'ing an overcard on the turn, facing a similar lead? Or were you planning to c/r regardless of this turn, thinking you could sell a made flop hand that failed on the c/r attempt? |

Re: $430 hand #2
I would fold pf, but I suppose that calling isn't bad.
On the turn I would lead out to keep from giving another free card. |

The type of loose that would probably bet middle pair on the button when checked to. And yes, I was looking to c-raise the flop. I usually fold this, but there were a few compelling reasons to call pf. |

Re: $430 hand #2
I'd be tempted to make that play no matter what my two cards were, as long as I feel I can put enough pressure on the button to fold a draw. If MP1 is any kind of player, you can reason that there is no way he matched that flop. Even if he had 99, he would know better than to give a free card most likely. So the strongest hand he could have is a high pocket pair (which is also unlikely, for the same reason as 99 is unlikely), which is extremely scary and extremely fold-able with that flop and betting action to him.
