Without a premonition I cap the turn.

River check/call is fine.

Edit: I think an interesting question is whether to raise preflop or not. I'm pretty sure I would.

I'm considering betting out on this river. I don't think he's got the Ace as he would likely have raised the flop, unless very passive. So he's got K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]X [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or your good.

I don't like capping the turn because then I feel I have to bet this river and could get raised again.

I don't really get this. My thinking with lowish suited connectors is to see a cheap flop in a (hopefully) multi-way pot. I'm pretty sure you don't have any kind of equity edge against two random hands with your ten high.

As for the hand I'd be inclined to cap the turn too. River looks fine.

I jam that turn and throw something at the wall when the river comes (and check/call the river -- there may be some worse hands that will call you, but most of those will bet out. Any hands that pwn you now will reraise and cost you more bets, so betting out does not gain you much.)

I could see villan having a weak ace here though -- Ace-whatever s00ted is a calling down hand to your average PP goon when they spike their ace, but even they can cap the nuts.

Since everyone (except me) is saying to cap the turn, what hand(s) do you put MP on that you were beating on the turn and no longer beat on the river?

Assumptions:

1) He knows that you have a flush.
2) You know that he has a flush.

This is a pretty easy hand to read IMO. There is just about no way that you are up against the nut flush on the turn since he will raise the flop with Ax [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. It is pretty clear that you are up against some flush or another and when you discount the nuts, it leaves 38 combinations of flushes. There are 6 of which you cannot beat and 32 that you can.

When the villian 3-bets the turn, you should give him credit for roughly the best 50% of possible flushes. In order to cap the turn for value, you would have a top 50% flush compared to his range of flushes. So when he makes it 3-bets, he should be holding either the 2nd nut flush (Kx [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]), the 3rd nuts (Tx [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) or the 4th nut (9x [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]). Since you are holding both the T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], it is impossible for him to have either the 3rd or 4th nut (from his perspective). The only logical hand for him to hold is Kx [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]...so well played.

I cap the turn, and check/call the river.

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T.

EDIT: I'm hoping he has a lower flush or overplayed straight, btw.

My Flush Hand looks kinda similar. I'd like more comments on my thread too =).
