Default AQo hand. straightforward???

In 14 hands with mp2, his VPIP is 43%, PFR is 0% and aggro-tot is 1.1. Havent noticed much from him, but I'm on 3 tables, so I can miss things.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero raises, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO folds.

Turn: (4.75 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 raises, Hero 3-bets, MP2 caps, Hero calls.

Do you guys 3-bet this turn?

River: (12.75 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls.

I got excited here and was too dumb to go for the river CR. I know it was a mistake, so please don't reply to this simply to rip me for that.

Final Pot: 14.75 BB

I'd call the raise, and let him cry about his AK losing later. If Q doesn't come on turn, then bet/call to a raise. Definite showdown.

no, there's really no reason to fear AK, MP2 would have probably raised the flop. i'll cap the turn, bet out the river, and call a raise if the river was not a queen.

Looks good to me. Yes, I agree that you did miss a river c/r.

If the river was not a queen, my line of play is to check/call.

With a PFR of 0%, he could easily have AK. With a VP$IP of 43%, A6 or A3 is quite possible too, especially if suited. I'd still bet the river (if not Q) after making the call on the turn.

well, i only have 14 hands on this guy, so a PFR of 0 really doesnt mean that much.

Why would you check call on a non-Q river? I think im betting and calling. The second ace on the turn could have just as easily convinced AT that you were raising a lower pair, or convince some other pair that you dont have an ace. Im gods own lag, but check calling this river seems somewhat weak tight with a hand that is much better than decent.

Also. Yes, i 3bet the turn.

peace
