Default Sit and Go tournaments

When playing in 'Sit & Go' tournaments (10 person tournament) is it better to play aggressive, or tight, if you are looking to consitently place top three?

If AleoMagus' guide ALONE isn't worth anything to you
then you seriously need to quit these forums and write
your own book...do you see why?

There is enough information there to beat $109 consistently. Whether or not that's "profound" is a judgment call.

There seems to be two schools of thought.

1. Look for an opportunity to double up early, then bully the smaller stacks.

2. Sit tight and let the maniacs knock each other out.

From what I've seen each has its advantages and disads.

With #1, you get knocked out early more often, but if you survive you'll have the big stack.

With #2 you'll survive longer on average, but you'll have to overcome the player who survived the early round all-in showdowns.

IMO you'll place in the top 3 more often with 2, but you'll win more with 1.
