United Wins
I know this isn't a soccer country. And I know this is a small league. But D.C. United won their 4th championship today, and for fans of the team that's still huge.
This is the first team I've every supported to win a championship. I'm in shock. |

Re: United Wins
I'm new to DC so I just became a true United fan and saw my first MLS game early in the season. Being from Buffalo, I'm not used to having my team win a championship!

Re: United Wins
Soccer....that's that little girl sport where men run around in cute little shorts kicking a ball, right?
Yeah, my baby sister used to play that. |

Re: United Wins
You've obviously never seen a good soccer game then. They can be just as, or more physical than other sports. "Soccer is a gentleman's game played by hooligans. Rugby is a hooligan's game played by gentlemen"
