Newbie to 6-player stats
Could some kind soul please help me out...
Ive started playing 6-tables at Party on 0,5/1 and find it very soft... I would be pleased if somebody could post stats on their game at 6-tables...I use PT but have only managed about 8k hands and need some guidance to what numbers are "normal"... Is 5 BB/100 unsustainable do you reckon? |

Re: Newbie to 6-player stats
I'll be interested in seeing these as well. I've only logged 3500 hands, so my stats don't mean much. Preflop, I'm sitting at about 22/14, which seems about right (this comes from following, more or less, a starting hand chart from HUSH).
My AF has gone through the roof; since I've been raising so much PF, I find myself betting on the flop and turn a lot. Much of this has been a mistake, as the players at this level frequently call with any two cards and are literally unbluffable, but its quite clear that my AF is going to be significantly higher at 6-max than it would be in FR. 5 BB/100 should definitely be sustainable in this game. It is very easy to find games with table stats like 50/2, which is just way too loose and way too passive. I feel like I've been running rather poorly (2 cracked boats, several cracked flushes, 2 cracked sets), and I'm still a little over 5. Small sample obviously, but this game is absurdly soft. |

Re: Newbie to 6-player stats
I think that this might be a little too tight. I was a 21/12 player at full games.

Re: Newbie to 6-player stats
Link to a thread with some of my thoughts on 6 max stats. It also has a link to another big post I wrote about learning 6max play.
I'll also add that a very big portion of your VPIP comes from blind defense, so I guess I'll throw in another link with some of my comments on blind defense. There's also some good stuff if you poke around in the threads that are linked to in these threads. |

Re: Newbie to 6-player stats
One quick comment on this. I'm finding that I'm not defending my blinds nearly as often as I thought I would at 6-max. There are so many players in this game with PFRs of something ridiculous like 4% that when they raise I have no special reason to think they're just stealing. So my blind defense ends up being kind of similar to my full ring blind defense.
I just can't get over how many players don't understand the thing about open-limping in this game. Its absurd. |
