Do I lead out on the flop, or is this play fine? As soon as the flop came, I knew that the only action I would get is from a flush draw, unless the initial raiser had AA/KK.... but is a flush draw the kind of action that I want, especially when compared to our chip stacks, and the stage of the tournament? If I felt somebody could have had a flush draw only, they are 3-1 to make it if we go all-in. Since he had a flush draw and an inside straight draw, he was 2-1. Should I have just opened with a pot-size bet and been done with it? You weren't gonig to get rid of him anyway, he's going to get all his money in with 2 overs the straight and flush draw.
Worst case for you checking is if the flush draw gets a free turn card.. but even then if it comes you can know to slow down a bit. Check looks good to me, then you get that guy in the middle too -Ray |
