Default Some help with blind steals.

Im having probs when on the button or CO knowing how much to raise to steal the blinds.

Can someone explain the theory on how u decide how much to bet, and how yours and the blinds chip stacks may influence this?

Assuming you have an average hand that you wouldnt ordinarily play or raise in normal circumstances.

Lets pretend the blinds are 200/400.

thanks

you have to observe your table and see what size raise is inducing the blinds to fold. Usually at least 3BB raise is needed to get the BB out. It depends on your table and how often you are stealing.
