Default Two Plus Two namesake?

I know, wrong forum but an OLD HAND flamed me for posting this in OOT. Does anyone know where Two Plus Two got it's name?

If you post something in OOT and it doesn't get flamed, you did something wrong.

BTW, 2+2=4

My understanding is that it was choosen to represent the fact that mathematics played a vital role in both Mason and David's careers prior to going into poker (and their poker careers for that matter).

Doesn't it come from the *rough* but simple way to calculate the chance of hitting your outs...

outs*2+2 = % chance to hit

i.e. flush draw = 9 outs = (9*2)+2 = 20% = 4:1
