Default This is interesting....

So this situation intrigued me, as i did alot of calling.

table is average, but not soft. Assume decent players.

Someone posts in the hijack, and i post in the cutoff.

Three folds. An unknown player open raises, folded to me, i call with As Js. Folded to the big blind, who calls. Three to the flop for 7.5 sbs.

Flop Ts 6d 2c.

BB checks, MP bets, i call, BB calls. 3 to the turn for 5BB's.

Turn: Ah (Ts 6d 2c)

BB checks, MP bets, i call, BB calls. three to the river for 8BB's.

River: 18 of purple horseshoes (Ah Ts 6d 2c)

BB checks, MP bets, i call, BB calls.

Well, what do we all think?

peace

I think I would have raised preflop. But I would play postflop the same. BB didn't pair his horseshoes, did he?

Does it change anyones opinion if i said this was a 10/20 game instead of my usual 3/6? I just realized i didnt put any stakes attached to the game. But again, everyone in the game seemed at least somewhat knowledgable, and decent.

Okay I think we all established that he should 3-bet PF, but what about the rest of the hand? This seems like one of those spots where calling is correct. On the turn the board is pretty raggedy and we can let BB call with an inferior hand.

I think calling is fine. WA/WB applies against PFR and the board is too ragged for me worrying about the 3rd player. Folding the 3rd player and getting 3-betted by PFR would suck.
