I'm calling that small of a re-raise and taking a flop at least, if not only to preserve my table image. If people see you raising and then folding to a minimum re-raise, the better ones are going to be re-raising a lot. I see the min-reraise a lot of the time used just as an isolation move with a ok hand like TT, 99 or JJ as opposed to a premium pair and anyone who does this is probably not a very good player so you will be able to extract the maximum when you are ahead and lose the least when you are behind.

Nope. Maybe, maybe if there wasn't a caller and you were HU you could fold it. Whenever someone minraises you, you pretty much always have odds to call the minraise preflop. But you're getting 5.7:1 on the $1 you need to put in the middle to play this 3-way. Call, play careful postflop. Be wary of an Ace on the board. Be careful on a Q high flop. Tread softly. Sometimes you're up against ATs and 75o.

I'd just like to add that sometimes I'm clicking around doing other things on the computer right as the table comes up and I accidentally hit the re-raise button so I'd have a totally random hand here.

So if I am sure he has AA KK QQ or AK what odds do I need to make this call? Reraiser had kings.
-Mike not disagreeing just wanted to see the math |
