Multiple entries into tournament with same IP
Some friends and I like to LAN every now and then. Before it was to play various PC games but now it would be fun to do some low buy-in tournaments. Usually with some bet like the first person out buys dinner. My question is, does Party Poker or any site allow for multiple people with the same IP to play in the same tournament?

Re: Multiple entries into tournament with same IP
They don't let you sit down at the same ring game, so I doubt it would work for tournaments.
You could setup a private tourney on Stars. |

Re: Multiple entries into tournament with same IP
Why not buy a deck of cards and play like they used to in the old days?

Re: Multiple entries into tournament with same IP
I know you can play in the same multi-table tournaments from the same IP, I've done it with 3 or 4 friends before. You aren't usually at the same table anyway. Never tried a single table tourney though.

Re: Multiple entries into tournament with same IP
As liquid says, it's no problem to enter the same MTT from the same IP (at Party at least). Ending up on the same table also occurs, and is also not a problem.

Re: Multiple entries into tournament with same IP
pokerstars wont let you join the same SNG, but MTT is fine. i used to have a computer LAN and my friends/parents or whoeever used to play at the same time often.
just dont cheat/softplay because the same IP thing will send up flags everywhere and they may investigate your tourney play especially if a couple of you have high finishes. |
