Your mistake is calling the turn bet. You are dead in the water and only a stone call bluff is taking down this small pot.

If you are going to bluff this river (and having top card pair and a 4-straight multiway isn't a real good bluffing spot) I would make a $5 value-like bet that will fold out unimproved aces and lower pairs. You are getting called by an 8 or a 5.

I can think of a whole bunch of places where this hand went wrong.

#1 Don't minraise pre-flop, if you're gonna raise, make a real raise to $2.50, although I typically limp in your position (I'm not sure if that's a leak in my 6-max game, though).

#2 Given that you weren't the final aggressor pre-flop, I think that checking the flop is fine.

#3 I'm not sure what I think about the turn call. Sure you're getting 30:1 on your money with overcards, but I think that your overcard outs wonn't be good a lot of the time.

#4 Just check through on the end. You have no hand, you haven't taken an aggressive stance in the hand and the pot's small. Just let it go.

Hmm, how can 4xbb be a minraise?

Sorry, that was my fault. I thought this was 50NL, not 25NL, because when BB 3-bet, he raised to $1.50, which would be a 50 cent raise, which means that for it to be a legal raise, hero must have raised 50 cents, so it would have been a minraise. I guess the converter's screwed up.
