Default How do you play AA on this turn?

My stats on villian are as follows
29% VPIP
5% PFR
3.5 Post Flop Aggro
26% Went To SD

Mostly he has been straight forward not making a lot of plays at the pot but I have been making a few plays recently so my image is aggressive.

Im thinking at this point I shouldve raised more on any street to make my decision easier but Im curious who would call here as it is. Thanks.

Seat 1: ($160 in chips)
Seat 3: Villian ($169.20 in chips)
Seat 4: Hero [AC,AH] ($145.25 in chips)
Seat 9: ($69.90 in chips)
Seat 10: ($13.05 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
Pniks posts blind ($0.50), podge12 posts blind ($1).

PRE-FLOP
Villian bets $4, Hero bets $10, Seat 9 folds, Seat 10 folds, Seat 1 folds, Villian calls $6.

FLOP [board cards 8S,JD,3H ]
Villian checks, Hero bets $15, Villian calls $15.

TURN [board cards 8S,JD,3H,6C ]
Villian checks, Hero bets $25, Villian bets $144.20 and is all-in

$201 in the Pot $95 to call.

I fold. Nothing makes the weak bet on the flop, calls the raise then check/raises the turn with a hand that can't beat AA.

what flop lead are you talking about??
I call this and expect to see jacks/eights half the time and kings and queens the other half.

I folded because I expected to see JJ/88 75% of the time and KK/QQ 20%. Just wanted to see how many agreed that KK/QQ doesnt show up more often. Villian told me he had KK but I just cant believe he didnt bet out or c/r the flop but decided to do it on the turn instead.

I call. Your weak betting probably made him discount AA as your holding.

In reality, your semi-slowplay set him up perfectly, since according to what the read on you would be, pushing the turn and just taking the pot there would be a decent move for him with QQ, KK, or less likely AJ. He may even bluff, since your flop bet could be a continuation bet while your turn bet looks like a rather weak semibluff type bet. You played the hand like you had AK, or, due to your image, were just flat out trying to make a move with a weak holding.

Due to his numbers and the preflop action, the only thing that has you beat is a set, but he still has enough back in his stack to convince you to fold if he goes allin on the turn. If he simply raised the turn, it would look highly suspicious. The board isn't overly scary, so a player like him would most likely wait to go allin on the river with a set to ensure the most money, considering you had controlled the betting throughout and the board wasn't scary. Even if it's just a check valuebet river play for him, he'll get paid more than he would pushing you off of many hands with his turn allin play.

I like to induce this type of allin from players that are basically TAGs by doing exactly what you did. I usually bet a little less on the flop, however.

Whoops, misread the hand, I thought the $4 bet was on the flop, not pre-flop.

In that case, I would actually be more inclined to call since JJ is the only likely hand he'll have that beats you.

Since you're folding, do you fear the 3/6/8 more than the J?
