Default Good deal?

Today i was playing a freeroll on absolute poker because i ahd just dled it and wanted to see how it was and finished in 4th, with the top 5 winners winning an entry into a $1000 tourney on sunday. However, i'm not going to be able to play on sunday, so i asked a friend of equal skill who has nothing to do to play it for me and if he wins anything we will split the prize between us. The thing is i don't know how much to give him, and he says he wants no less than half of the money he wins. Is this a fair deal or is either of us getting to much or too little?

I let another 2+2er play a freeroll of mine once, and our deal was that he get anything up to $100 and then I would get the next $100 then we would split 50/50 after that.

I don't know what the standard is, but I think 50/50 is fair from a common sense standpoint.

Later,
Che

BTW I would be willing to bet that schwza's EV is indeed higher than that of your friend.

I assume that it's a $1000 prize pool, not a $1000 entry, right?
