Default Call on flop with AA?

Party 2/4. EMP limps, I raise from three off the button with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], BB and EMP call.

Flop - 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB bets, EMP calls, I call.

Turn - 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB bets, EMP folds, I raise, BB calls.

River - A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Check, bet, call.

Note that sometimes we should post hands that we feel are fairly routine both because we may turn out to wrong and because other posters may learn something new from them.

I guarantee that some people reading this post would raise the flop here every time.

I disagree. If nothing else, it's interesting to analyze the hands that the solid MP player could have, given his actions throughout the hand.

Keep in mind other people post here too, so feel free to skip my posts when they suck.

Just to make sure my reasoning is correct I'll think out loud.

You won't get anyone to fold the flop for 1 more small bet, so you might as well make them think they are good so they bet on the turn, where you can raise and stick them for more money.

When shouldn't you do this? When there are a certain number of people to act behind you? When you have an overpair, but vulnerable to overcards?
