My parents are obsessed with this show (particularly the Brit version). Any good? Worth my time to watch it?

The British version was one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life, no hyperbole. If you like that type of uncomfortable humor that Ricky Gervais spews, its quite simply awesome.

Be sure to get the specials as well.

British version > American Version

I still love the American version though and hope they return for a second season, but the ratings sucked so I have my doubts.

get all three of the british version DVDs and watch them in order. Comedic brilliance. I haven't seen teh american version as its on the same time as House
