$2/$4 and $3/$6 Do you really have to tip the dealer?
Since the rake is already hurting us so much as these games and if you play at Canterbury the Jackpot drop each hand, do we really need to tip after every pot won?

Re: $2/$4 and $3/$6 Do you really have to tip the dealer?
I do unless it's a super small pot. At Canterbury the dealers keep their own tips and some of them are very good (in my limited experience). They keep the game moving while being cheerful and talkative as opposed to the ones that barely realize that it's time to burn and turn. Because they keep their own tips most actually try to do a good job and therefore deserve something. They can't help that they get brushed to a 2/4 table and they get paid the same no matter what table they're at. So, IMHO, yes
If you want to maximize your return, online is the place to go. No tokes, no paying for drinks, much lower rake and 2-3x as many hands per hour per table. It's just not as fun. I'll be there tomorrow night even though it's Fish Fry Night at Party |

You dont need to do anything.
Tip if the dealer does a good job. Buy a roll of quarters or half dollars. |

Yeah, the dealers will chop a white for you too if you ask.

I dunno, i always feel dirty tipping people in change, even though it's more concrete at the poker table than the silly disks of plastic and clay we fight over.
