How would you play this draw? Part 2.
I reraise to 250.
Folded to MP1 who bets 450. Button pushes. Instant push? |

Re: How would you play this draw? Part 2.
Once you know you are going to get more then 2 to 1 on your money (if both call here) very easy push. I have to agree with MLG that this is a great spot to push early with this mega draw instead of raising smaller as you did. That way if someone happens to be on the nut flush draw with no pair which is the only hand you do not want to be against they will most likely lay down to your massive overbet... then again this is party and I hear over there most play flush draws to the nuts like they ARE the nuts. Even if you are against the flopped nuts here you arent in bad shape.

Re: How would you play this draw? Part 2.
In retrospect I agree with pushing. But this was one of the few instances where if I was going to get a caller I wanted to try and get two callers. I figured I'd be 50/50 to win the hand whether I was called by a TPTK hand or a set, and still remain about 50/50 against TPTK AND a set. Is this reasoning off line?

no, this is a big mistake. this hand can be in a lot of trouble against two different hands, while it can never be in real trouble against 1. What if you were up against a pair and a bigger flush draw, or some such. Get this heads up at least, and or take it down as quick as possible.

Point taken. As it turned out I was up against bottom set and top pair. No improvement, buh-bye.
