bozos who don't use the Auto Ante or Auto Blind

What's with all the jerks on Party Poker who won't
use the Auto Ante for stud or Auto Blind button in
Hold Em games?

A rare occurance at Planet or Paradise, every table at
Party Poker seems to have at least one of these cretins
slowing down the game.

it can, yes. in stud especially, they usually take an eternity to post every time.

There is no good reason I can think of not to do this, unless you are thinking of leaving the game soon. If the game gets bad, I will take off autopost, but sometimes stay in the game a few rounds if something looks promising.

Other than that, yes, it slows the game down quite a bit. Imagine ten people, none of them autoposting. The drop in hands played would be significant. There's no reason to slow down a game if you're beating it.

I could also see not using autopost if you had serious bladder problems. Get a Gatorade bottle with a large top and put it next to your computer.

I do not do this but i have a theory on why it happens so much at party.

I think that it is because at Party tables seem to die so quickly and they seem to have so many more players sitting out at a table at any one time compared to other sites. Because of that players leave autopost off just incase the person before them decided to leave or sit out, then they just leave the table for another.

The algorithm for collecting antes at Party Poker is
to collect antes one player at a time starting with
seat one. Let's say seat one is a bozo too dumb to
select Auto Post, the program will wait up to 20 seconds
before folding the guy. If there is another jerk in
seat six, he will get an additional 20 seconds.

These idiots do slow the games down quite a bit.
