QJo in LP against big stack
Pacific Poker, $10NL, .05/10 blinds, 9-handed
Hero has $10 Villain has $50 Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in LP (button-2) 1 limper Hero limps in SB completes (big stack) BB checks Flop: ($.40): 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB,MP checks Hero bets .50 SB calls, rest fold Turn: ($1.35) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks Hero bets $1 SB calls River: ($3.25) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB bets $2.70 Hero folds. Too weak? I bet into the SB twice, on the flop and turn, and he called without even thinking. Should I have just called here? I'm having trouble putting the villain on a hand. |

Re: QJo in LP against big stack
I'd call. You are getting over 2:1 with 2nd nut flush. The Ace[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is most likely, but I could see him with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or even no spade at all often enough to make the call.

Re: QJo in LP against big stack
I fold. Villan may have KQ, or something of the sort. With a near PSB on the river, you aren't beating much. Also, to 2nd poster, Hero has 2nd pair by the river, not a flush.
