X Post: Where can I bet on the hurricane?
I know there is a place that does that...I've been on a hot streak forecasting these things, too. I thought I might give it a shot.

Re: X Post: Where can I bet on the hurricane?
Don't know where but I like this bet, I live right smack dab in the middle of its projected path (North of Gulf Shores, took a huge hit by Ivan) I'm saying a little east of Ivan's path.

Re: X Post: Where can I bet on the hurricane?
Well....I'm a former Perdido Key vacationer. We also went to Orange Beach many times. Unfortunately, I predicted it last year to hit MS/AL Gulf coast when all the forecasters were predicting east. One thing to remember about hurricanes: there is something that the TPC has not picked up on when it comes to their "strike cone." Hurricanes are somewhat unpredictable but the TPC is missing some of the bigger forecasts. Watch for them to miss this one too. I haven't done the research yet to make my forecasts. I found intrade.com (which you can fund with Neteller/Firepay) which has contracts for you to bet on the storm. I'll be back with further updates.

Re: X Post: Where can I bet on the hurricane?
I live in Pensacola and the winds are picking up right now...I better hurry up and finish my sngs before the power goes out. Also, if for some reason the power goes out for more than like 3 days, I am going to be flying somewhere so I can still "work." anyone have any suggestions?
