Anyone having problems with Empire today?

Since Empire shutdown this morning and did some upgades I have been having trouble opening the program. I have reloaded it 2x and it opens a couple of times and then I will go back later and it does not open. I have 5 other sights loaded on my computer including Party and they all work fine, all other programs work fine, is it just me?

I had a waiting list problem , I rebooted my computer and it fixed it.

The exact same thing happening to me. Empire will open, I'll play for a while, shut it down, and the next time I try to open it nothing happens (no opening screen, nothing). Until I reboot, then it works again.

(Edited to say, as with you, Party working fine the whole time.) One strange thing I realized when I tried unsuccessfully to update the files automatically this moring, and wound up downloading them (Party and Empire) straight from the sites instead, is that the Party install file is much, much bigger than the empire install file. I have no idea if there's a corellation there, but I found that odd...

Party's MTTs are not accepting registrations (see the MTT forum), and I couldnt' get into any Empire tournaments.

Upgrade?

Same thing for me. If you go into TaskManager and kill it, you can then re-open it...closing it normally does not work.

Empire is working fine for me. Right now there are 13 people entered in the $5k guaranteed and 53 in the $10k guaranteed. $25+2 for each. WTF?

And there a 5 people in the $5+1 $1k guaranteed. Is this for real? I tried to register but it wouldn't let me even though it says open for registration.
