pre-flop raise
I have been trying to be more aggressive with my marginal pre-flop hands (not really marginal but ones that are not an auto-raise), but I'm not sure about this play. The table was pretty tight when someone raised. I did know that the raise would bump quite a few people out. This might be SOP but I'm just checking. Would anyone raise with lower than 8's?

Re: pre-flop raise
If MP3, CO, and Button are tight, I'd raise 77 as well. Nice hand.

Re: pre-flop raise
On a similar table, what suited Aces would you raise? A9s, A8s? Off-suited Aces? Any other marginal hands with high-card value that become raise cards?
I play the nano-limits on PokerStars, but there are super-tight tables like this during the day. I'm still trying to figure out how to best play some of these hands. |
