Blind versus blind - A2o
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter
Villain is 54/21. Postflop play is moderately aggressive and somewhat too loose with few flop raises. On the turn and river he becomes a very aggressive raiser--about 25% of the time there is action to him he will raise it. Preflop: Hero is SB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 4 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls. Flop: (6 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls. Turn: (4 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, BB bets, Hero folds. Final Pot: 5 BB |

Re: Blind versus blind - A2o
I like it. I assume you called the flop, considering calling down and the King being an obviously bad card changed your mind.

Re: Blind versus blind - A2o
I think I like a fold on the flop. Your ace is tainted, and you only have a backdoor 4flush to go with it. Calling the flop for image is ok too I guess. Pretty close either way. Turn is an easy fold, that board sucks.

Re: Blind versus blind - A2o
I play it the same.
Flop call is probably a bit loose if you only were to play this hand, but I try to avoid folding for one bet on the flop as much as I can in this spot for image. |
