Trying to play cute with AA HU

Party 15/30. (sorry, no hand history currently so I can't convert the hand.)

I peek at black AA UTG. Folded to the ABC-aggressive type button who 3 bets. Blinds fold to make it heads up. I call 1 more to see the flop.

K 7 6 rainbow. With the 3 bet behind me, the only hand I figure beats me is KK, so I check, with the intention of check raising the turn.

Turn is a 9, making 2 hearts. I check, he bets, I checkraise, he 3 bets. Do I cap and lead, or just call?

Once you get cute preflop, I like checkraising the flop better than the turn.

Okay, stupid question...in my pokerttracker stats - what is this middle number??? and with your aggressiveness stat, are you including pre-flop numbers or not?

call. his pf 3-bet combined with his flop 3-bet makes it much more likely that you are behind than ahead. Call down hoping to see AK or AA.

Have to, though I wouldn't be relishing it. The reason I would cap the turn is that his turn 3-bet doesn't mean anywhere close to as much as it would if hero had capped preflop. Opponent's most likely hand is a K that he's planning to check behind on the river.

I capped. River made 3 hearts, I led out, and the villian just called the river. He turned over 99 for a turned set and MHING.
