Default AC, has anyone actually stayed at the Irish Pub Inn?

I've seen it mentioned in many threads here, but has anyone actually stayed there? Was is clean? I am probaby heading down this weekend and all the boardwalk hotels are booked up, so I'm considering staying there for the night. Any experiences?

My advice...stay in a chain hotel just out of town (West Atlantic City, Absecon, Pleasantville). You will be like 10 mins or so drive from the casinos and you know where you are staying will be safe. I've stayed where you're asking about, but definitely (IMO) don't stay in no name fleabags in or around AC.

I agree.

On US-40 just West of AC in the Egg Harbor or Pleasantville area, you can find a number of joints such as Holiday Inn Express and Best Western. Try those out. Like Jeffage says, they are only a short drive from the action.

The problem is I don't drive, and won't be with anyone who does. I guess it's just gonna be adderall all night and then sleep on the bus ride home.

can I take a taxi to one of those out of town hotels? I've only used them to go to different boardwalk hotels.

Good to know. I'm used to nyc taxis that don't even want to take you to Brooklyn, let alone out the city limits, so I didn't know if it was the same.

Thanks
