Corniest Intro Sequence

Honestly, is there anything cornier than the WPT intro sequence with the explosions?

Maybe I am forgetting a few TV shows that are even worse. There can't be many.

They should really rip off the intro sequence from NFL 2K, Sega had it running on all cylinders with that and it's 5 years old, no one can possibly remember it.

It would work for a sport where such moments are famous or exciting to watch again, but a guy holding up two cards isn't too interesting. Just build up how important it is to win a WPT event and how hard it is, etc.

It reminds me of Mortal Kombat. The production quality on that show is a joke. I prefer the ESPN coverage. At least it has some sort of creative vision and integrity. WPT is cheesy and low budget.
