Default My good intentions for this summer

One week of exams left and then... summer.
So I thought I might as well start with listing all my good intentions.

- Get rid of my € Neteller account and create a $US account
- Get rakeback
- Buy PT
- Bonuswhore more
- Buy a new batch of poker books
- Read them
- Keep logs
- Only play fullring (I leak shorthanded)
- Pay attention to the game
- Think about every action and watch every hand
- Play at one table
- Play within my bankroll
- Put in a lot of hours
- Discuss more hands
- Analyse my hand histories

That's all for now. I'll be adding to this list when more good intentions come to mind. Just thought I'd make this official, so I can't back out because I'm too lazy.

You have any good intentions for the summer?

Yeah, my good intentions are more along the lines of

1: Play less poker, have more fun.
2: Play less poker, read more (as in good fiction, not as in rereading TOP and supersystem).
3: Try to complete the $25 - $1000 challenge.
4: Concentrate fully when I do play.

My gut tells me that poker is more profitable during the autumn and winter. And sitting inside in front of a computer all day is more appealling during the winter as well.

Anyway. These are my good intentions, I'm not saying it's going to happen

And good luck with yours.

1. Compile a list of poker quotes so I can stay inspired when fishies are bad beating me.
2. Burn Rounders onto DVD (the hire fees are killing me)
3. Get a new credit card before I max out the old one
4. Buy Miller's book so I can bust more short stacks
5. Not lose my bankroll while bonus whoring
6. Improve the quality of my posts on 2+2

- Play at one table

[/ QUOTE ]

i don't think you should play one table at a time. the reasoning that you have is to keep notes on players so you can take advantage of those awesome fish.

i noticed, however, u don't have PT. PT does this for you. just look for 40% vp$ip or >, and BAM there's your fish. The downside of playing one table is that it makes you bored. playing 3 (UB) or 4 (PP) keeps you occupied, letting you fold AJ no problem preflop from EP and letting you raise correctly preflop with TT.

see what i mean?

- Go through homers steps of building a bank roll
- Call less, fold more.
- Read some new books.

I agree with meleader also about the one table thing, especially if you get Poker Tracker. I think two tables is a good number, allows you to stay concentrated on each and also fold more hands. When it gets up to 3 or 4 I just get way too confused but thats just me.
