Default Monitor type/resolution for multi-tabling online?

Hey everyone, quick question.......

I want to get a monitor where i can play the max number of games on stars..... like four or five.....

I currently have a 17" dell FP, but the max resolution is 1024 x 768 and i can only comfortable fit two tables and/or uncomfortably play three.

Any suggestions?

Id really like another flat panel...... but i dont want to spend a thousand dollars or something, if i dont have to.

Thanks in advance.

Oddly, I don't use it for actual online poker - I use it for managing online poker. But I use dual NEC LCD2060NX's (1600x1200) plugged into my Dell 8600 laptop (with a port replicator so I have both DVI and VGA). It is, well, the nuts. 3200x1200 effective of super-sharp quality.

These monitors aren't cheap (I think I paid about $750 @). But if you're a serious online player, I'd think they'd pay for themselves pretty quickly.

Regards, Lee

Your cheapest option is a 19" CRT monitor. Normally you need at least a 19" screen for 1600x1200 resolution (you need a resolution at least this high for 4 tables without overlap). I'm in the same boat, I'm looking at picking up a 21" CRT for multitabling.
