My preseason bet!

I'm going to be betting on the Bengals this preseason. Word is that Palmer will play over a half in most games because the coach wants to get him good work with the offense. Moreover, they have capable backups at RB, QB, and WR. Plus they're a young team who seems to be headed in the right direction- those types of teams tend to try to win preseason games unlike veteran teams who don't really care. Moreover, they have a 2nd year coach who wants to impress the locals. Thoughts?

Not a bad thought on the Bengals, but i believe they cancelled their game this week do to the storm coming in.

That definitely is a solid reasoning - New england showed last night how good a pre season play can be when you let the World Bowl MVP play 3 quarters.

I dont think Lewis has as much to "prove" to the locals as he did last year. Coaching preseason trends are a good place to start
