Default Online poker

I really hate playing online and so I am going to stop (until I return home in a month). I played a couple of sessions of live over break and it is so much more enjoyable. Does anyone else feel this way? Any tips for getting over the boredom/hatred of online poker?

I agree about the enjoyability gap between B&M and online. B&M is way, way, more enjoyable.

I sort of think as online as practice, a way to see tons of flops and see how tons of players play. So, online poker is not the destination, but a means to an end.

I'm sure the break will do you good. Go Celtics.

Play shorter sessions and learn different games. That's the only way I've kept Online Poker interesting. Brushed up on my stud, played some pot-limit 5card draw at 24h with a bunch of crazy swedes, spent a few weeks grinding me teeth and playing pot-limit omaha, cleaned up playing triple draw at UB. Then, just when I think my bankroll can't handle any more swings, I head back to hold em

But, truly, b&m is way more fun. Especially big bet poker.

I know Rob. But I play the home games and they are infinitely more fun than online. I had a sesh tonight and dropped a buyin...I think I may just cashout.

online poker is ... ehhhh yah.

I would rather go to a casino and play some 1/1 nl anytime. I seem to make more in live games as well.
