I think you're done raising. Push or fold time is fun! Too tired to double-check, but I'm sure you fold this PF.

Edit: Eh, pretty close. If we make the two mid-stacks pretty tight, giving button a wider range, I'm getting near the .+5. Your understanding of your image, a read on those behind, etc. could easily swing this negative.

Regardless, NO RAISING 40% your stack. And yes, you have to fold here.

First, jump to the 10+1s, the rake isn't as large. Second... you should never raise half your stack. You really do have the odds to make that call now even if you're dominated, but you're probably going to need to catch up. Your raise crippled yourself.

Folding pre-flop might have been best. If you're going to play the hand, you have to push all-in.

While the advice was accurate, I sincerely suggest you don't worry too much about the rake at this point.

You have a modest roll to hang at the fives for a bit. Work on further developing your intuitiveness here in the later stages of the game. Pay particular attention to 'push this', 'call that', '...bubble', 'icm..', etc. posts. Make your move up when you find you are better able to self-diagnose those "whoops" moments (that we all make from time to time to some degree) -- not hesitating to post them here along the way.

There's a point somewhere in there...unless money is not an object, there isn't really a need to make your education more expensive than it has to be. Besides, there are rewards that come with "earning" your rise to higher levels.

(Ps. I'd recommend $350-$500)

Ignore escapeplan... no way you should move up to the $11s with 8 buyins. Your iffy right now as it is. Honestly, you should try depositing more or clear some bonuses to build your BR up a bit. Playing the $5+$1 SnGs is fine, any decent player can overcome the rake.

However, you need to work on your play... you should have folded this. Keep reading here and posting hands. You're off to a good start. Don't be discouraged if you lose that $80.. you only had like 13 buyins and are still in the learning phase.

I assume you mean he should fold the first time around? cos he's getting 3:1 on calling the re-raise...

Especially now that he's left with 800 chips and very soon to be 500.

My bad, I didn't know your bankroll was only $80. Stick with the $5s for now.
