Opinions on this hand
This has sparked much debate on another forum, I am looking for opinions here. I was not involved in the hand.
Live Single table 10 player NL tourney T5000 chips to start - Top 3 spots pay Down to 6 players - I have 4700 Blinds are 300/600 I am big blind Player to my left has 1200 and goes all-in UTG Very next player also goes all-in w/his stack of 3200 The other 3 players fold to me - 2600 to call with 2 players already all-in I have AK off Reads: First all-in player is desperate and I'm very confident I have him beat; the second all-in player is a big question mark - he's a good player and hasn't stepped out of line so certainly has good hand, but his chip stack is getting a bit low also. Do I call here ? Why or why not ? Thanks ! |

Re: Opinions on this hand
My guess is the reraise all in is protecting a vulnerable pocket pair up to Jacks, maybe Queens, maybe just AQ or AK.
I am weak-tight and fold, and then kick myself hard when I see AJ vs 88 and a King flops. I've overplayed AK into this kind of situation too many times to risk it. AK sooted I might decide to play it. Calling leaves you in the push/fold mode if you lose to the reraise all-in. |

Re: Opinions on this hand
I don't like calling two all-ins with AKo. As you said, the first guy could have anything, but the second guy must have something. There's always the chance that the first guy actually did pick up a hand, which would make things bad for you.
You're not in dire straights yet -- I would fold. |

Re: Opinions on this hand
Let me elaborate a bit. Given the current players stack sizes, all the big stacks are not in the hand, if there was one monster stack and you were in say, 2nd, i would change my mind and muck, but if they all have 6-7k in chips, this is an easy call IMO.
You have to put in 2600 into a 5300 pot. If you lose, you still have a small, abeit very short stack. If you win, your stack goes to 7900 and you are on the bubble. if you only beat UTG+1, then you are pretty solid as well. Unless someone has AA or KK, you are looking good against most raising hands (10s v. AQ and AK, you are ~30% to win, and i think i am being somewhat generous w that hand range). I like AK here. |

Re: Opinions on this hand
What are the stacks of the three players who folded?
What is the buyin? It's tough for me to answer this question without this information. My estimate is that you're likely a ~36-40% favorite to win this hand, and the pot odds are 2:1 for ~50% of your stack. Please answer the above questions first. Also, are there any more reads on these two? |

Re: Opinions on this hand
I'm not a fan of calling multiple all-ins with AK, but this might be a good spot.
The first guy could have almost anything. Hes UTG with 2BBs, his push range is ginormous. If the 2nd guy is a decent player, he knows this and will isolate with a bunch of hands including many that you dominate like AJ or AQ. You have them both covered and already have 600 in the pot. YOu really only need to beat the 2nd guy to come out ahead and your hand looks to be in good shape against that range. I'm actually quite surprised to see so many people advocatng a fold. |

Avg stack?
I assume you are below avg but not in very bad shape. Also guessing that the 2 AI are the shorties at the table. Fold. |
