4/8 hand - home game
This is a fairly tight, tough home game. I'm in the small blind with ATo. Folded around to the button, a tight and tricky player, who raises. I 3-bet. The BB folds. Button caps; I call.
The flop comes AJ4. I bet, he raises, I 3-bet, he calls. I put him on a strong ace and I'm pretty sure my kicker's bad. I figure he would have capped with two pair or a set. The turn is an A. I check, he bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I cap, he calls. At this point I'm pretty sure I'm beat. I put him on AJ. The river is a T, making me a full house. I'm still pretty sure I'm losing to aces full of jacks. I check, he bets, I call. 16.5 BB in the pot. I'm not sure about my play on any street, except the river. Thoughts? |
