Default SB AQs: c/c:c/r right or wrong?

I've only recently made the move to .50/1.00 after ~10k
hands of .25/.50.

I've relied strictly on the SSHE recommendations pre-flop
and on my math background to keep me +EV after the flop.

I'm trying to add some spice to my game (does a c/c:c/r
qualify as "spice"; I doubt it).

Is this an appropriate situation to use the check/call on
the flop followed by the turn check/raise? That is, is
two pair a sufficient hand for this?

The table is slightly loose (25 vpip) and overall passive.

I'd c/r the flop and lead the turn.

You raised preflop from the SB, the other players should be expecting you to bet the flop. The check looks very suspicious and anyone paying attention here will realize you have a monster.

I'd just check-raise the flop, but I can't really think of a persuasive argument for not calling the flop and checkraising the turn. The only reason I can see is that you've got a player trapped between you and MP1, so strike while you have the chance.

Bet Bet Bet indeed, you were the preflop aggressor, to those who said c/r the flop, what guarantee do we have that someone is going to bet the flop for you. GET YOUR MONEY IN WITH THE BEST HAND (or at least a monster)
