when you're at a typical poker table, and your cards have been of the 4-10 offsuit type for 90 minutes, do you think it's best to leave, or dig in for a while?

Focus on players in the hands so when you do catch a hand, you can strike it that much bigger. Also, play a couple of crappy hands cheaply so the other players don't peg you for a rock (assumimng theyre paying attention). Raise like 2xbb in the cutoff so people don't wonder why you have been sitting there motionless for 90 minutes. You don't have to play past the flop, just give a little action every now and then.

On the other hand, if you're that bored, I'd just leave so you don't start taking bad hands too far.

id probably leave, if i feel the NEED to play a hand because i havent in a while, which happens to me often when i run cold, then im out! (tourneys are a different story obviously)

if i am winning, you couldnt pull me away for nothin
if i am losing, i get disgusted and just quit

You should do what I do when I'm running bad. This works for tilting too. Go to a micro limit table. Take a dollar and go to 1 cent 2 cent blinds, Nl holdem and just have some fun there. You should worry about losing a dollar, because its mostly to relieve you of your stress. I think a dollar is worth that. And if you are playing in a casino, you should stare at the cocktail waitresses ass a lot between hands. If you see a hot chiprunner, get a lot of chips and cash out a lot. After a while ask her for her phone number, followed by a "You can handle my chip stack baby." This usually works if the floorman has had security escort you out, or if she hasnt kicked you in the groin.

If im on-line.... I bring up some porn to pass about 10 minutes or so (don't tell my girlfriend... she thinks I'm only good for 5 minutes)...

If at a BM casino... I turn on the IPOD.

All joking aside... if your getting cold-decked... get up and walk away for a while ... miss a blind and come back to post as a live straddle... that way you atleast get to look at 3 hands.
