Default Atlanta +3.5 ??

Am I missing something here? Atlanta +3.5 @ Kansas City?

I had thought this line would be about the opposite.

The ongoing myth of the invincibility of the Chiefs at home.

The Chiefs are this season's Vikings. Except the Vikings are still this season's Vikings, kinda.

Which Atlanta team will show up? The one from the first 4 weeks or the one from the last 2? The Falcons look a little schizophrenic to me right now. This looks like a good game to pass on and hopefully learn something from.

Agreed. This looks a bit off. But not as off as Baltimore at home giving up 6.5 to Buffalo.

Buffalo is 1-4, but three of those losses are to Jacksonville, New England, and the Jets. They gave up 13, 13, 31, 16, and 13 points. That 31 (to New England) includes the late turnover returned for a touchdown.

That defense is not bad, and Baltimore's offense is. They should not be spotting anyone 6.5.

I would suggest staying away from this game.

Very unpredictable on both sides.

The Falcons can bring either team to KC - their dominant high-scoring team or the one who couldn't score a single touchdown.

Likewise the Chiefs are facing a must-win situation and a lot of local pressure to win. They still have a very talented offense and a pourous defense.

Again, I'd recommend staying away.

I like Atlanta in this game. I am not certain about their record ATS, but my gut says its not good, and I do not believe that they covered at home either of the last two weeks. However, they have been finding a way to win, and their overall record is 4-1. A good team finds a way to win, even if its ugly. I think the Falcons keep this game close.

This just in: ATL is 5-1 overall and 2-4 ATS.
I still love a 5-1 team getting points against a 1-4 team.
