Default Flop Play error

With so many people calling my preflop raise, I felt the check was good because if Im behind drawing to 2 outs and with so many players one must have a queen or ace.

I got berated by a player for raising then checking - should I bet here? Am I awful? What do you think?

How do you know if you're behind, though? You give yourself no opportunity to find out. You also give anyone with two hearts a free ride to their flush.

Bet out each street until you hit aggression.

Yeah I guess you're right, but isnt this a bit like the overpair hands in SSH or am I missing something?

Is it that no one has bet?
