Am I tied to this pot?
Live NL 100
Hero stack is about 50 Hero gets AKo in BB 5 limpers - BB raises to 9$ total (8 more) and 4 callers Pot ~ 40 Hero's stack ~ 40 Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero...? I bet 25 (~2/3 pot) and more than 1/2 my stack. Should I have just pushed? Lots of scary draws on board and I don't want to see turn but against 4 other villians do I expect to be beaten enough by say : 2pr, set (10s is only possible I can imagine) or flopped straight? |

Re: Am I tied to this pot?
c'mon guys
there's gotta be some constructive feedback - I mean against so many players is my TPTK good enough (or will stay good enough) till river for me to put money (in which case it would be all of it) |

You've flopped top pair, top kicker with a Broadway straight draw and you have only one pot-sized bet in your stack. What are you going to do, check/fold? Push your chips in. SpaceAce |

Re: Am I tied to this pot?
ok, thanks guys
I've never heard that phrase before but it sounds like a decent one to live by (with the exception of certain cases : e.g. raise , re-raise and cold call in front of us) |
