Default HU with equal blinds

Hello

In the casino where i sometimes play they run a €5/€5 PL holdem game.

Now some dude challenged my housemate to play a $1000 freezout session, somewhere in the next week. When my housemate told me, we were both slightly in the dark as to if, and how you play NL or PL HU games with equal blind sizes.

Would you change blinds for this game (say to €2/€5 or €5/€10), or just play as if the button (normally SB) has called when he checks his €5 blind?

ty,

Marnix

The button acts first pre-flop. The BB acts first on all other streets.

Personally, I would try to negotiate a more standardized blind structure, as you suggest.

Until recently, the software at Absolute had the BB on the button in HU games. It was silly. They have since fixed this.
