As always, i had a very good time getting to know eberyone and challenging myself to play my best game. Early my reads were spot on, but i didn't play my A game for very long. I think i also got a reputation as a folder when i went flop dead for a while. I bounced around all session, and ended up down like $75. Not to dissapointed given the lineup and my cards, but could have been a bit better.

Default Re: A bunch of hands from the 2+2 game

Thanks for the game. I had fun too (until Barron showed up).

Hand 1:

With this betting sequence you can put a decent button on better than 1 pair most of the time. Don't go to war on the turn! I suggest calling down (a semibluff will often bet the river).

Hand 2:

Barron and Schneids can go multiple bets on the flop with cheese. When somebody comes to life like MP here, it is often a draw. I think you should have bet the turn to get more info.

Hand 5: Guess I shouldn't have folded Ac4c

Not sure I appreciate non-TSP sanctioned 2+2 games taking place, especially when I had a miserable Monday and ended up drunk in a local watering hole during the time of said contest.

Sorry I missed this auspicious event.

Hand 1: One point for your opponent to consider is that the opener was in the cut-off. So your pre-flop 3-bet might be with a smaller pocket pair than it otherwise might be and thus an apparnetly raggedy flop might be more dangerous for pocket aces than it otherwise might be. I'd be more inclinded to "go to war" on the turn had you been in earlier position.

Methinks CO made a great play in hand 2.

Methinks MP made a greater play in hand 2 because MP knew how CO would react to MP's flop play.

In which case MP missed a river bet?

What if MP is still a little scared of 44466 or even 34567 and would rather put in zero bets on river sometimes then betting and having to put in two?
