Default What does \"lead\" mean?

I was wondering, what does "lead" mean?
I often se in NL forums people say, "lead the flop" or "lead the turn"...
So, what does it mean?
Thank you!

Make the first bet (or preflop, the first raise -- not certain but I think I've heard it used thus). A/k/a lead out, bet out.
