Quick probability question
Apologies if this has been covered before, I did a search but couldnt find it. If there is a x% chance of an event happening, what is the chance of that event happening in a series out of a total sample n. So for example what is the chance of flipping a coin and getting heads 5 times in a row if you were to flip the coin 100 times.

The simple recursion gives an exact answer. The example worked out is for getting 3 AA in a row in N hands, so for the coin flip, change the probability from 1/221 to 1/2. |
