Default Vegas apartment location question

buddy and I are contemplating two areas right now for an apt. First one is Sunrise Meadows, at Flamingo and Durago about 10 min west of the orleans. The others are at Green Valley. Anything I should know about these areas that might influence my decision?

thanks

Go with Green Valley. Much more upper scale section of the city. But Durango is quite a bit west. You can hit the 215 and be to the strip in 10 minutes. So its about the same distance. I used to live on the west side of the city and prefer the south/east much more.

Green Valley area is excellent, shop around on apts, some in the area SUCK!

I recommend the Camden properties.

Here's one to avoid: Bay Breeze on W. Warm Springs, very near GV Parkway.

I live very near Flamingo and Durango. I would never move to the Henderson/GV area due to traffic and scenery. Also, Bellagio is 14 min, Wynn will be 17 min. Both almost the same no matter what time of day. You will not get either place in under 20 from GV. Also, as I think you just learned, I believe housing is a little cheaper here.

Hope this helps.

Matt

i also live very near flamingo and durango. It's at most a 3 minute drive from any errand type stuff you need, and a 10 minute drive to to the strip (under pristine driving conditions which rarely exist). There's a nice public park about 5 minutes away, several gorgeous views of the strip are very near. In all I'm quite pleased with the area.
